A note on applicant tracking systems

Uses a second column. Modern ATS handle it, but some older systems read columns out of order, so for large-company online portals an ATS-safe template is the safer choice. The Word download flows into one column.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Anchor in Google Docs?

Yes. Download the .docx and upload it to Google Drive. It opens as an editable Google Doc in a single column, because table-based columns break when edited in Docs. The PDF keeps the two-column design.

Is Anchor ATS-friendly?

Anchor is design-forward: modern ATS read it, and its PDF puts the main column first in the text, but some older systems read columns out of order. For large-company portals, an ATS-safe template is the safer pick.
