Creative resume template (that still gets read)

A creative resume should show taste, not shout. Colour, confident type and a smart layout make you memorable; skill bars, photos and icon soup make you hard to read.

Vista puts your name on a full-width colour band with a sidebar for skills. Beacon and Lumen are quieter options, and every template lets you choose from nine accent colours and four font pairings.

Creative, not chaotic

One accent colour, used consistently.
Real text everywhere, with no graphics or charts for your skills.
No photo. It's standard advice for US applications.
A portfolio link in your contact line does more than any design flourish.

Frequently asked questions

Will a creative resume pass ATS?

Beacon is one column and ATS-safe. Vista and Lumen use a sidebar, so they're labelled design-forward: great for portfolios, email and agencies; for big-company portals, consider Beacon.
